Langkawi The Jewels of Kedah















Langkawi is a tourist area in rural Malaysia. Langkawi is also often referred to as the Jewel of Kedah. Langjawi nerupakan archipelago consisting of 99 islands that already includes five islands that appear when the sea water was receding. On 15 July 2008, Sultan Abdul Halim has agreed to change the name Langkawi to Langkawi the Jewel of Kedah along the Golden Jubilee Celebration.
Malaysia Airlines and Air Asia operates flights to Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur. Tourists from Osaka, Taipei and London can fly directly from the country with Malaysia Airlines airline or other airlines depending on their location.
